Finals are over...and I'm a junior!! Can't believe I'm halfway through with college, and one year from now I'll be preparing to study abroad to who knows where (well God does :)). I'm kinda sentimental about leaving school and leaving my sophomore year behind. Time has flown so fast. This year was great though- making new friends, going deeper in established friendships, being discipled (changed my life!), dating a fantastic guy for a short season (which I don't regret at all), going to Houston on missions trip, and God absolutely thrilling me about His mission in the world. I've learned alot about myself, and God has brought me to a new depth in my relationship with Him. He is my exceeding joy, and has shown me no matter what He takes me through, I can still rejoice in Him.
After finals finished up I spent the weekend camping with my parents, which was really nice and relaxing. The lake was beautiful and dad and I visited the same spot where he taught me to skip rocks so many years ago. So now we're home, and I've taken over my sister's room because the trim on the window in my room is being replaced, so I can't really unpack yet. Oh btw- while driving on the interstate today, I passed the Robert's Dairy cow, which was being hauled on a trailer behind a truck. It was massive and made me laugh out loud, because I just kept thinking of how funny it would have been if my roommates were there with me to see it (especially Char). I really wanted to take a picture but camera was not handy. So plans for this week- catching up with friends around here, bug my teachers at my high school, a much needed haircut, and getting ready for camp (yay!!!)
