The dark room is finally FINALLY getting the complete overhaul that was postponed this spring. This afternoon I received an email from one of the department managers explaining that the contractors couldn't complete any work because the cupboard along the back wall wasn't empty.
As far as I'm concerned, the stuff in that cupboard could be tossed, because if no one's needed it in the 8 years I've been working there, it clearly is not important. But I told her I'd take care of it, and then I notified my boss, who said he'd come make sure there wasn't anything we should keep.
So. I'm digging around in the cupboard and find what I think, in the dim light, is a tube of vacuum grease or sealant, and go to hand it to him, because that's something we'd use on other equipment. (Heh.)
Only to realize that it is a huge tube of K-Y.

Fast forward approximately 30 seconds, when I unearth a mostly-used roll of duct tape.
I could not contain my hilarity. And then. THEN.
My boss says, "If you find leather in there next, I might never be able to use this dark room again, even if it is renovated."
