poison for the mind
i failed to mention in my last update that i watched "runaway bride" last night on tv, w/ julia roberts & richard gere...it was cute..kinda reminded me of J-Lo..but unlike Julia Roberts' character in the movie, J-Lo doesn't leave her grooms at the alter..she actually GOES THROUGH W/ THE WEDDING(S)!! lol...anyway, yeah teh movie was cute..and i'm such a sap for romantic comedies or worse yet, romance movies!! it's poison for the mind (or at least MY mind, anyway) and it gives me a false sense of hope!! romantic (comedy) movies always falsely "inspire" me, making me believe that someday..SOMEDAY, my prince will come...but it is from my experiences that i have discovered that there are no princes--only frogs...*shrugs*...maybe that's just ME, though...
and speaking of romantic comedies, "maid in manhattan" looks kinda cute (i mean, i'd see it!! knowing how i am!!)...but J-Lo isn't really like the "poor" maid she portrays..she's really more high-maintenance like the person her character is mistaken for in the movie (not that i've ever seen the movie)....and Ralph Fiennes..he's good-looking, but he doesn't make my "juices flow" (for lack of better, less graphic wording..sorry)....but when i see him now, all i can see is the Red Dragon!! Maybe he should have changed his hairstyle for this movie...'cause now if i see the movie, i'll be expecting him to have freaky-ass teeth and for him to take his shirt off to reveal a full-body tattoo of the "red dragon"
yeah, as you can see, i'm clearly killing time that i SHOULD be spending studying for immunology....okay, i'm going now
