So i was SUPPOSED to, ALLEGEDLY, be getting tix to a free advance screening of "8 crazy nights' for tonight at the fewnway theater...i got an email last week from WBCN (i've somehow managed to get onto their mailing list & have been on it for about a year or so (??) now..weird)..the email said, not even that i've won the tix..just that me and a friend were invited--i just had to email them back/RSVP with my mailing address & phone # and they'd send 'em out...well, no tix were in my mail today!! so i obvoiusly did not go..= ( not like i had my heart set on it,but it would have been fun to have seen it, esp. for FREE!!! who can't use free stuff??? esp. when it's a movie?! anyway, i guess it's better that i'm not going b/c i have a friggin' quiz tomorrow in immunology..but i can't complain 'cuase it's really all the work that i HAVE to do this short week..and last week, i seroiusly did pretty much NOTHING!!! no, REALLY!! thurs. night was fun, though..i drank w/ Lothida & watched "Gossip" which was on the WB (how appropriate!)..though i wasn't paying all that much attn. to it..
anyway, being drunk and walking around boston is pretty fun..i wasn't like, COMPLETELY drunk...but i was more than JUST buzzed....and it was funny 'cause when we were walking, i was--not so much stumbling..but walking all into lothida the whole time..she's like "jenn, can't you just walk in a straight line??" "NO!!" *bursts out laughing*...lol...yeah, so we were walking around like 11: or 11:30 that night, in search of FOOOOOOOD..lol...and then we went to Chicken Lou's (a REALLY REALLY good little shack on campus--they have stuff other than chicken, but obvoiusly chicken is their specialty)...and i didn't realize how drunk i was at the time..but when i was in there ordering, i was hanging all on the counter & stuff, lol...and all i ordered was "chicken nuggets"..and the kid at the register is like "okay, that's $4.48" (or smoething like taht)..and i'm like "FIVE BUCKS FOR NUGGETS??" "well, there are 12".....so needless to say, i got 'em..and shared 'em w/ lothida back at my place and she shared her french fries w/ me..and this was only around midnight or so....and we were sitting/slouching on my bed, and she kept talking to me, but i was SOO falling asleep!! she was just like "um, i think i better go, Jenn"
and for those of you who STILL insist that i'm an alcoholic: this is only the SECOND time i've drunk this entire school year!!!! okay???? i have some half-shots of Goldschlager and like, 2 Mike's hard lemonade....yay for the liquor store in Brigham Circle that DELIVERS & doesnt' card you!!! though they took my LAST name when ordering and made me sign for it...?? Hmm...??? *shrugs*...as long as they don't come looking for me, asking to see my ID...
and i took a long nap today...and i thought i'd be good for the rest of the night, but now i'm tired again..= ( all i wanna do is sleep, but i know i gotta study..and i will..just a matter of how much..= ) hehe.."the minimum amount possible" is usu. my motto!!! lol...*shrugs*
guess that's it for now...2 MORE DAYS 'TIL TURKEY TIME!!!!!! yumm yummm.....i get to be a gluttonous, greedy pig!! oh, wait..that's EVERYDAY!!!
