Well, I can't say much happened over the past two weeks since, well... Nothing really did happen. Two Fridays ago, Uteng and I pretty much just did hang out at his house all weekend with mild errand running to the pet shop to look at fish for me, and the Best Buy or so, so he could find a hard drive enclosure. The pretty aggravating part of the entire time was the fact that Uteng's computer seemed to have broken down for whatever reason, and he and his brother had no idea on how to fix it! Though, seeing Uteng's new nightly routine was pretty amusing... Aahh, the habits that you get into doing as you get older. XD I loved how he makes his father wait for him to come down to dinner even though he's not even doing anything in the study. Haha. We managed to contact my computer teacher to see what kind of input she could give us, and other than figuring it was a software issue such as a corrupt version of Windows, she suggested that we take it to my school's Tech Center to see if we could get it fixed for cheaper if not for free. Of course, I would just have to put it under my name, and Uteng would just have to go back and fix various username stuff later. Unfortunately, we still haven't been able to take it here since he works and lives a fair amount of time away, but we'll figure something out soon I hope. :]
So as for this past weekend, Friday was pretty much another hanging around night at his place, but this time [!!] I didn't have to do any homework!!!! THANK GOD!!! I was soooo happy that I spent my first hour and a half sleeping XD. Then came dinner, a few video games, and a movie. We saw Gladiator, well the first half of it anyway. I somehow fell asleep during some obscure part of the film.
Saturday morning was more or less our usual mornings, getting up late, eating dumplings, and finishing our movie. Then after getting fixed up and the dishes washed and the movie finished, we managed to take the computer to the computer repair shop. That took about an hour to see what was wrong with it only to find no issues with it. So after that, it was back home for more video games. While that was going on, I got another nap, and Uteng got a call from Boejangles asking if they wanted to see another Comedy Sportz show. I had to opt out thanks to lack of cash and a lack of a credit card due to technical difficulties. Uteng wanted to know if I wanted to borrow cash from him, but I couldn't help but think that was kind of going against his "Could you pay your way since my budget is becoming rather tight?" kind of thinking. And when he asked about it and made a big fuss over it, he just freaking didn't get it. Of course... *sigh* God he reminds me of my mother at times... And that is not a good thing. And he fucking freaks out about my rather neutral attitude to the situation. How else am I supposed to act? I can't go with you, so I'm not totally happy, but at least I'm NOT FUCKING SCREAMING AND CRYING FOR YOU TO TAKE ME AND PAY FOR ME!!!!! I hate boys at times. So, I ended up staying at my dorm for those two hours or so. During that time, I pretty much just sat around, ate, and fumed over what had happened in the car. At least, Asuka understood my situation and was kind enough to let me borrow her last year's Halloween costume. :] I'll be going as a Geisha this year! Yay! Haha. Too bad her costume is a bit big. Oh well. Still saves me 70 bucks with the use of a pair of pins.
Well, Uteng was expecting to eat with me by the time he came to pick me up, but obviously I had already eaten. Oh well. He managed to get home and eat some noodles. And that was seriously our night hahahaha!
Sunday... Yea... Nothing really happened. We intended to go to Chinatown and get me a new Squiggles since the Philly tap water totally pwned its ass -______-, but Uteng got sick of trying to find parking so we returned to my dorm to take the subway down. Then, I think he got a bit lazy here and decided not to go out after all. -_______- Our fishie trip was already delayed because of the comedy club stuff. So, he now owes me a fishie trip next weekend, and by God, I'm holding him to that!!
