Armed and Dangerous!

So here I am in Pakistan and I am already trained in shooting weapons before I came out...well, we got to shoot more weapons...

This firing range was about 45 minutes away from Islamabad. It was out in this place where people lived in shacks and the stench of raw sewage was blowing in the wind. Talk about a gag reflex!!!

In the US, when you shoot at targets...it is usually a silhouette of a person. In this case, it is actually a person you are shooting at. Is this supposed to encourage us or something? Is it the beginning of brainwashing? Either way, it was fun!

Here are a couple of pics of me shooting a Glock. It is an extremely easy gun to shoot...! I actually liked shooting this gun...

If any of you have been to a shooting range, they usually make you pick up the brass when you are finished shooting. This firing range was considered a "self-cleaning" range. In other words, we did not have to pick up the empty shells when we were done firing. See below!

The children would race to get the brass, so they could take it home and sell it. There are a lot of brass manufacturers here in Pakistan, and it looks like this is one way the get their supply of brass!

I'm going horseback riding today...pics to come!!!
