Some thoughts

I feel pretty good that school has ended. Do I want to torture myself with summer school and thus make next year more bearable? Should I bask in blissful nothingness? I can't see myself saying "I have nothing to do today," but it would be really wonderful to wake up one morning and feel the truth of those words ( Read more... )

I loved your post. I agree with so much of it. The way we live, the mixture of spiritual and physical treatments (holistic in that illness isn't of one part, just as your toe isn't a separate part, it's all incorporated), how your mind controls your body. I'll totally go to Peru with you, although I don't think I'd partake. It would still be an amazing experience. Hey, what are you doing in August? How about October?

I was thinking Mexico City. You, me and Eliz possibly. A lot of fun I think. Guess what. I got a tattoo on my back. I stopped by Stell yesterday but didn't see your car. Did you go there? How's the non-school life? Have you decided to go to Oregon for sure?

Mrow.

Hope you have a good weekend. Give me a call if you get bored.

Man, I always lose my phone when people call. It was in my car underneath a seat and your message was on there, food definitely would have been fun, maybe some other time ( ... )

I hope you get one or the other. They sound fun. If you don't see Z over the summer, perhaps you could go up for another break? Or fly back there and take a greyhound down or something?

I don't think I knew you were going to New Orleans. What are you going for? I think you're the only person I knew who went to N.O. before the terrible-ness, so whenever I hear about it I think of you. It is fitting for you to go back, although you will have to write a lot about the before and after.

I haven't read Anne Rice in years. I always loved her books though. I met a christian who gave up anne rice books because of her religion. Poor religious people...

I don't know how long it would take to drive down. It might not be worth it though, as I think it might be really far. If we do end up going though, we definitely do not want a car in the city. Traffic is so terrible that it slows you down.

Ok, I'm going to a gay club in LA with 2 gay guys and a straight girl, talk to you later love.

HEY tell that religious person who couldn't read Anne Rice that she can totally read Anne Rice now! Anne Rice went religious after the death of her husband and perhaps other mysterious factors we know nothing of in order to begin a series about Jesus Christ. Truthfully, I am afraid to read it. I only think vampires, witches, and dark things when I see her name and do not want religion associated with it too! ah well... ohyeah, and she lives in southern california now, in the desert. She sold her beautiful house in the Garden District. =)

Gay clubs are fun, I hope you had a good time.

And yeah, thanks for the advice on Z and visits. I am so confused.

I am leaving tomorrow morning for New Orleans cuz I'm going to the American Library Association Conference. It might be fun.

I will visit you on my return! (If I return...)

Wow. Anne Rice has converted. I can't believe she left New Orleans. Anyways, she had a bit of religious-ness in her vampires, witches and other such creatures, but not in a way that religious people would think it best. I will definitely tell my old co-worker, she will be stoked.

I hope you visit me upon returning!!!

We can cook organic vegetarian meals, and eat them while being comatose on couches (not quite the same as our beds freshman year, but whatever) or we can read amazing books while drinking coffee, or terrorize someone, or run around for the hell of it, or to dance to music.

My friend is planning on going to a rave and it made me think of the one rave I've been to, which was with you.

Ok, going to find something to wear to my brother's wedding. Hope you enjoy New Orleans, and I hope it's not too humid!
