Okay, its been ages since I updated anything, so let's see what's happened.

I suffered an ear infection at the beginning of May, which really sucked. What sucked even more was the fact that the ear drops that they had prescribed to me had a steroid in them that actually cause my outer ear (not the earlobe) to swell up and cause me a lot of pain. It took me a few days to realize this for some reason; it didn't really hit me until I used the ear drops when I was practically fine and found myself in pain an hour or so later.

Thankfully, the bulk of the bill was covered by insurance. I have yet to see a bill saying I owe anything for the hospital visits and haven't heard anything, so I'm assuming that was covered.

We got a Wii (try saying that ten times fast) a few weeks ago. Actually, Dustin and I went about 50/50 on it, so its not entirely mine. I did get Super Smash Bros. Brawl and NiGHTS: Journey into Dreams, as well as about 4000 Wii Points, with which I got five Virtual Console games: Sonic 2, Kirby's Adventure, Kirby 64, Bomberman '93, and Super Metroid. Been playing the hell out of Super Metroid lately.

But I really want Earthbound and Kirby's Super Star to come out very soon. I did get them for emulators, but its just not the same. I heard Japan's got Mario RPG as well...

Work's been hectic these last few weeks, but that's because I've had to work strictly 3rd shift because our night manager went in for surgury. It wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't having trouble sleeping. Don't know why I am exactly. But thankfully tonight's my last day for about a week, so I can hopefully start to relax.

As for our new store manager... dammit, I don't know what to think. He isn't a total prick, but he's not exactly the best guy to be running the store. He's made some really weird decisions and
doesn't help out as much as he could and I'd really like to tell him my opinion and try to be a bit of a prick about it, but ever time I talk with him I get along with him! Dammit, I can't be (somewhat of) a jerk if he' not going to be one to me!

Dom was down Memorial Day weekend and came over. He was here until 5 am (o_O) and talked about how Scientology is evil, the deal with Tibet, annoying students and classmates, his stupidly evil relatives, etc. etc. Also played a bit of Smash before hoping over to Super Metroid and Sonic 2.

As for the conversations, the Tibet thing is apparently a lot more complicated than the media lets us know. I sort of wonder if he's China-biased (his girlfriend's from China after all,) but then again, Dom IS the type of person who will research a subject if he needs to know the facts. So for safety's sake, I'll say I'm neutral on the topic (but am I?)

As for the Scientology bit, I present to you this: The Unfunny Truth About Scientology. Though I must warn you, a few images are disturbing. Also, for a good laugh and/or shake of the head, look at the comments.

(Actually, looking at the comments kinda pissed me off. Most everyone is talking logically, and there's one idea who's acting like a 3-year-old. That 3-year-old is apparently a Scientologist.

Anyways, yeah, what esle? Done some writing. About six pages in the past two weeks, all at work. Not much, but its a start.

Also, just realized I have a pretty large Doctor Who collection. Kinda sad to some degree, but that's being a fan for you. Anyways, what I have under the cut for no apparent reason.

Pertwee Era
- Doctor Who and the Silarins (part of "Beneath the Surface" collection)
- The Sea Devils (from "Beneath the Surface")
- The Time Warrior

T. Baker Era
- Robot
- The Genesis of the Daleks
- Planet of Evil
- Destiny of the Daleks
- The Keeper of Traken (part of "The New Beginnings" Collection)
- Logopolis (from "New Beginnings")

Davison Era
- Castrovalva (from "New Beginnings")
- Warriors of the Deep (from "Beneath the Surface")

C. Baker Era
- Timelash
- Revelation of the Daleks

McCoy Era
- Remembrance of the Daleks
- Survival

Others
- Doctor Who: The Movie (one bootleg and the real thing that requires of jiggery pockery to get to work)
- All three seasons of the new Series
- Timecrash (on my computer, though its low quality)

So yes, a rather health collection.

I would make some comments about the new episodes of Doctor Who I've seen (The Poison Sky, The Doctor's Daughter, The Unicorn and the Wasp, and Silence in the Library,) but this post is long enough.
