On prayers unanswered?

Some that exist are silent: the sea
On a day with no wind, the wind
On a field with no grass.

Some that love, too, are silent:
A mother trusting her daughter.
A father testing his son.

after they die they echo the sea?

That try to prove to other conches

the foolishness of believing after they die

they will echo the sea?

Spend their lives trying to persuade them
