Pirates!
It's been a piratey kind of weekend.
Last night I went to PiratePalooza and had a pretty good time. I don't have a lot of pirate gear so I wore a shirt I bought at Dragon*Con that has a big skull and crossbones on it and looks good and piratey. I also got a donation from a guy in one of the pubs. He gave me a spare kerchief...it was new. It was also blue. I would have preferred red or black, but hey...free stuff.
Today was ARTC's National Talk Like a Pirate Day show at Barnes and Noble. We read from the second book in the Pirate Hunter series and a good time was had by all. I even ran into a guy I used to go to high school with. He works at the bookstore now, so after the show we went out and caught up since I hadn't seen him in almost a year or something.
Y'know, for an unemployed person, I have a lot to do. *looks at todo list and sighs*
