A year gone.
Every once in awhile, I come back and check this. I always think, "maybe I'll have something new to say this time."
I usually don't.
I miss writing, I really do.
I have so many spaces to do it in, private and not so much. And I leave them all empty and blank.
I s'pose I should take some time to reflect on the year that has passed us so quickly.
A lot has happened and yet, as always, not much has happened at all.
Alex and I had our ups and downs, mostly because of some ghosts of the past. But, we have been living in our house together since October, and most of it has been nice. The living together part, at least. Again, ups and downs.
Valentine's Day will be a year and a half for us and I'm happy to report that it doesn't seem that long at all. He agrees.
Buffy's health has been deteriorating but she gets around, most days.
I try not to think about it too much.
A ghost from my past has returned as well, but he is on the other side of the country, and we are both finding our place elsewhere, I hope.
I'm almost finished with my degree at Blue Ridge! Only two math classes remain and then I'll be transferring to Old Dominion U.
I cannot wait to get the hell out of Harrisonburg. This place has been poison to my well being in every way.
Well, I suppose I'll stop for now. Time to go watch some Dexter with the love. Perhaps I'll return tomorrow.
