Pe-suck
I didn't even bother to check when was the last time I wrote. Sowwy.
So I had a truly hilarious New York Experience yesterday, which I'll relate while I wait for my kosher-for-Passover broccoli soup to cook. I'm taking the very crowded subway home from DHS and these two losery middle-aged guys get on the train near me and start having one of history's most inane conversations. An excerpt: "Yo man there's no seats" "I know. It's like, 'Hey everyone! Give us your seats!' Heh, heh." (I swear they were middle-aged) "Haha totally. Do you give up your seat sometimes for like old ladies?" "Sometimes." "Man I think like, they've had a long life and stuff and since they've lived longer than me they, like, got to sit more than me so now it's my turn." "Heh, heh." "Yeah but if it was a pretty girl that's a different story." "No way man, be honest, if you gave your seat to a girl and she was like 'Oh that was so sweet take me home with you,' you wouldn't say no!" (This was completely unrelated, by the way.) Anyways after the first stop someone got up so I sat down and continued to listen. At one point I look up and see this young guy (who for some reason was wearing a clothespin on his hat) trying not to laugh and I start giggling. Then the lady next to me starts cracking up, and me and the kid also burst out laughing, along with four or five other people in the car. It was so incredibly funny and so uniquely New York.
The weirdest part is that just now when I was walking home I passed that young guy on the street (still wearing the clothespin), and we just smiled at each other and kept going.
PS-I guess this semester was just so good I didn't have anything to bitch about in my LJ. ;-)
PPS-Jingle bells, gefilte fish smells, matzah tastes like ass. All week long I want to puke and Pesach can lick my baaaaaaaaaalls.
