Ring a Ding

I just got back from watching our school musical, "Grease". It was better than what people made it out to be, but not as wonderful as the show I watched in 8th grade at El Modena (I think...)

Anyway, Ben was amazing, Katy was phenomenal, and Chelsea was good too.

I seriously hate sitting in those metal fold-up chairs for a prolonged amount of time, aka more than 10 minutes. Scoliosis makes it much more difficult to sit still, as Shawna and I found. But it was good that we had front row seats (A-16 and A-17) thanks to pre-sale tickets. Woohoo. And, there were these little kids sitting on the ground and they were way cute. One of them was a Boy Scout and it reminded me of my good old Girl Scouting days. It was more of a family affair with my mom was the Scout leader, my brother as a Cub Scout, and my dad as the Den leader. Yes, we are a nerdy family.

Before I left for the musical, Poonam and I went to L.A. Fitness to "do" our senior projects. Basically, we went into the activity room, took pictures of Pilates positions, changed (to make it seem like we were there multiple times, which we were) and took more pictures, and then walked over to Starbucks where we say Jessica, Sarah, and Edmund. They left but we stayed and chatted and Poonam basically compared me to Rafiki from "Lion King." She's a good friend. Then we came back to my casa and made our really easy multiplication worksheet for Calculus tomorrow and she gave me some CDs.

I'm reading "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" for Book Club, and it's a-okay. I've been engaged in it for hours now. Yay for reading.

Oh yeah, as I was on my way out the door to go to "Grease," my mom, being the loving, caring mom that she is, stopped me and warned me to drive safely, safety first, blah blah blah, and that I should watch out for roadside killers...??? Yeah...I don't know either. I just know now that I might get shot driving now, which is certainly a picturesque scene to be played out in my mind.

Fin.
