(no subject)
it's a nice fall day and the rain last night made the leaves smell rotten. it's not a rotten rotten, just a simple smell to remind us of the season. the same wet leaves left fossils on the walkway surrounding the quad so you can make out their shapes and sizes.
i now work carry out delievery ( to hospitals and office buildings) at bertuccis. so far so good except i get lost a lot and must manuever a bulky cart through busy sidewalks. the worst part is you have to yell "EXCUSE ME!" and bomb around people which is rude. i'm getting better still.
sometimes i hate the city and sometimes i love it. (i'm pretty good at changing my mind and using strong words.) our school is fenced in by children's and beth isreal hospitals and an earshot from brigham and women's so it's always wailing with sirens. instead of getting used to this sound i am more attentive. today i think it's a fine place to be even though i stepped in a puddle. i'd put my shoes in the dryer but i don't want to pay a dollar twenty- five for a ten cent spin. they can sit on the windowsill.
i have to get to class.
