Writer's Block: So Long, Farewell
I just want to say I am NOT a Bush hater...like so many people are. I went through about 3 pages of the Writer's Block answers & didn't see one good thing. I don't think he'll be remembered, per say, for a good thing...but people should have more respect for him. He did his job the way he saw fit and to the best of his ability. I just always got annoyed when people had so much dis-respect for the PRESIDENT. 99% of the people, if not 100% of them, who are saying terrible things about Bush, probably couldn't even come close to running the country.
He didn't put us in the recession or kill the economy, a lot of businesses, banks, & companies did that. And as far as the War & 9-11....could anyone possibly imagine being in that situation? I think he handled it well and responded great to the attacks. Maybe I'm just too "nice", but I really think he deserves A LOT LOT LOT more credit than most people give him. Sure, he's probably made a few mistakes, but what human doesn't?
ANYWAYS--- I think he'll mostly be remembered for the War in Iraq & of course, September 11th.
As far as tomorrow goes, I'm really excited for Obama's Inaguration. I have so much faith in what he's going to do, I hope I'm not let down.
In other news...Happy Martin Luther King day :) I had today off school, so it's nice to relax.
Today's probably going to be spent catching up on General Hospital, yay!
