[sewing] I'm a genius !
I always throw my iPod in my handbag, and then worry that it will get scraped (and I can't find it when I want it too). So I sewed a little case for it, using a tutorial from Bambou here.
I'm a beginner in sewing, the only things I did before were pillows and a skirt (use the sewing tag to see them), and I had needed lots of help from my mother. This one, I did it ALL by myself. And it's cute ! It's not perfect, but I'm damn proud of myself !
It took me over 2 hours to do the whole thing, using leftover fabric (and fake toile de Jouy) from my pillows. It's 14 x 8 cm. There's even a lining inside, and a little hole for the headphones when I'm using it.
Sylvestre is going to be SO HAPPY. Or, you know, white and flat.
