(no subject)
My computer was giving me so much hell for the past month! It would shut itself down (right when I was in the middle of something of course. Or right when I attempted to get online), the backlight on the screen would shut itself off whenever it felt like it (and wouldnt turn back on without a reboot), and it took about 18 tries to turn it on most days.. and when you finally did get it to boot, it would shut itself down 10 minutes later. It sucked. Finally a few days ago when I tried to turn it on, I heard a loud pop followed by the distinct and horrible smell of burning electronics. And that was that, my computer had finally ended its life. So, I went down to Best Buy and got my birthday present more than a month early this year XD I got a Gateway FX gaming laptop, which I just love to pieces so far. It's manly as all heck, it looks like Halloweentown with its black and orange coloring, but ohhhh man. Loving it anyway! Ahh it's so nice not to be annoyed with my computer.
Total change of topic:
Today I spent some time replacing some posters and wallscrolls, so I now have a summer theme going on ^^ It's.. bright in here with all these happy summer posters, but it's a nice change. So earlier, I was trying to decide which wallscroll to put by my window, and I asked my mom her opinion on which to put up. She chose this wallscroll: http://www.toysnjoys.com/wallscrolls/ge9734.jpg
And her reason for choosing this one?
"I like this one because it looks like they just had great sex, they look happy and satisfied. And they look like they're about to go out for donuts."
LOL LOL LOL. What in the world?! XD I was laughing so hard, it was so out of the blue. And she said it with a total straight face. Ohhh man. Needless to say, now I will always think of sex and donuts when I look at this on my wall XD
