I should probably update on my LIFE WHAAAAAT. Bullets because long things annoy flist peeps and no one reads it anyway.
- I have been unemployed for about a month now, if not more. It's been glorious but awful, probably in the way you would figure.
- Mike is still unemployed... kinda? He got a job at Goodwill as an assistant manager, and the store is literally across the street so that's kind of nice. However, the background check is really detailed and could take over 2 weeks. WHAT. So now we're just waiting.
- Mike has been applying to teaching jobs though, you know, something some one with teaching experience and a degree should be getting but the economy is shitting on our generation, etc, etc... and nothing. it's getting so frustrating. He hasn't been called to sub at the hall in awhile. I guess I should note that Mike is slightly unemployed because he's an on call substitute teacher at Juvenile Hall.
- So Dan Schneider put up a posting for a writing job in Hollywood on his Facebook (and I later found it on Craigslist) and Mike applied and submitted samples and shit and he should get it. I'm tired of his dreams just being stomped on. First Teach for America, then all the teaching jobs (more than 20, I'm sure) that have pushed him aside, and this?! I will give up on this world.
- I'm in the process of applying to Mills College. Everything is in except my application payment because I'm going to wait a bit to see if Mike gets the writing job.... which he wont even though he deserves it and is more than talented enough to get it. FUUUUUUUUU.....
- Improv is going ok, shits been unorganized and stupid BUT we're in a tournament in... 5 days or so. SUPER SCARY! I'm not playing in it because I suck but my talented husband is. WOO!
- I miss iCarly fandom. The new season is aaaaaawesome.
