(no subject)
I finished a story! Its the most wonderful, fantastic, absolutly exhilarating feeling in the world, and god, it is so time. 1500 words, and called "A Whispered World", its the most exciting thing that has happened to me recently. I'm hoping its okay, I've just sent the draft away, and, hopefully 5 drafts later it will really be good. Here's hoping!
So, how did this miraculous thing come about? I just sat down, slaped myself several times and stuck up post-it notes all over the wall telling me to "WRITE WRITE WRITE", "WORK WORK WORK", "DON'T PROCRASTINATE", "NO INTERNET" & the most useful and wordy one "IF YOU FIND YOURSELF DRIFTING OFF...DON'T!" Its amazing how much it helps!
Hmm, there were a million other things I wanted to say, but I can't think of them now. I am planning to stay off the internet all tomorrow (which is hard when you are working on a computer!) and get my next story written. I'm up at 5.30am tomorrow cause I'm driving my dad to the airport, he's going down to Sydney for a few days. Its good getting up early, I'll probably get more done.
I also seem to like giving flowers at the moment, so here's some more to everyone! Its actually not as fun as on the TLC forum, where they have a little smiley face giveing flowers. So just imagine that! Also, please please please, if you are reading this now, look a bit further into my journal (one entry down) and read my little drabbles that I wrote. I know they are only small, but I'd like to hear if they are okay and I want to write more. And thank you and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to meredyth_13!
