"Wait, you know that Neil Diamond did not write Beowolf, right?"
- "Oh. Then I don't want to see it anymore."
This surrealist assignment is giving me a great amount of grief. I cannot produce anything decent until the last possible second, though I try, oh I try. To caaaaaaaaarry on (that was highly gratuitous).
I dabbled in surrealism like six years ago (again, for an assignment), and it was crummy. But a little bit sweet. I have this gnarly picture of a huge mouth, but the inside of the mouth is a desert. A shameless thirst metaphor. Trippy, but not really. I appreciate surrealism, though I have little interest in making it now; abstraction is where it's at. Regardless, this class is concluding, which saddens me a bit.
Like fifty years ago, PJ gave me the Simon & Garfunkel Old Friends Love On Stage DVD. Very recently, I have located it. EXCITEMENT ABOUNDS. I've also unearthed my harmonica. Eye yam Bob Dylan.
I need a real job! More imminently though, to shower.
Oh, and today I went mini-golfing at the cruddiest mini-golf course imaginable and have pictures to prove it! Beauty.
