Woohoo!
Well good news!! I got the job at ASU. Most people would think I'm crazy for being so excited for about a big pay cut. However I am.
Here's what I'm looking forward to:
- Increased job satisfaction.
- Using bits and pieces of my education
- Working only 40 hours a week
- Free/reduced tuition for myself, husband, and children
- close proximity to my good friend Libby
- Usage of the SRC - hopefully
- looking forward to coming to work
- A computer with a soundcard!(It's the little things)
- Coworkers who like Homestar Runner
- Being employed by the State of Arizona. (Lots of bureaucrats, but pretty secure)
In other news, we picked up our dinette set yesterday. It's very pretty. With the leaves in it can seat 10 super comfortably. And the leaves are butterfly leaves so they are stored inside the table when not in use. Super cool!
Ryan's b-day is in exactly one week and I have yet to get a present, nor do I know what I am going to get. Eeks!!
