Massage Class, Work and Consignment

Massage class today was great. We discussed our reading assignment and learned more practical stuff. We learned Lymphatic Technique from the wrist to the inside of the elbow, and how to prepare a table (with sheets, etc.), and then we discussed some anatomy and physiology, and some ethics aspects. (Thursday, our first class, we learned hand massages).

The 'group' and I decided we should start study group meetings (there are only four people in the class and we all live kind of close). I, of course volunteered my house because it is sizable and there are no (human) children. (Pepper is in a cage in our bedroom and Lulu we can easily keep in the bedroom for a few hours. For anyone who has not seen pictures, the bedroom is HUGE.)

After class ended, I picked up "A's" vitamins and headed to work. I forgot my phone at home, so of course I MISSED the message that instructed me to go onsite instead of the office (which I would have KNOWN had Lulu NOT decided to use my phone as a TOY last night which prompted me to put it in my bedside drawer. *HRMPH*)

So I ran right over there after I called my supervisor from the office. LOL! It is a really good thing my hours are flexible and that she is very forgiving and rather cool to boot! :)

Work was great, actually. I organized some closets and supplies, etc., and then we hung out and distracted each other by talking about fun, non-work stuff, like Firefly and music stayed onsite to assist the Agent in Charge who was offsite, so if prospective buyers came by they could have a tour of the beautiful homes.

On my way home, I stopped by www.dancingmoonraleigh.com to see about replacing my triquetra anklet. They did not have any (I bought it many years ago at www.pyramidcollection.com) but I stuck around to look at some stuf and just browse, and the woman there and I started talking about consignment and if they sell stuff from local suppliers.

This was very cool and kismet because I happen to be wearing some of my own jewelery pieces and have a jar of lotion in my bag for personal use.

Needless to say, I will be scheduling a meeting with the buyer and we will talk about consigning my stuff. *JOY*

More Later. Hubby is home.
