[Toushirou and Momo were conspiring together, she was sure of it. This whole awkward 'I accidentally murdered you' and 'I have no idea what you're not-talking about thing but why aren't you talking to me' vibe that the two of them had going on was a plot to make her feel old.
She was not old! Of course, by mortal standards she was ancient, but as a shinigami - well, her birthday might be coming up - damn him - she was in the prime of her youth! She was practically certain that Captain-Commander Yamamoto had been alive since dirt, after all.
