I've passed the halfway mark at the EMT course I'm taking. It's billed as a two-week "boot camp". A lot of vocational schools advertise intensive programs calling them "boot camps", but this course is run by a bunch of ex-military guys so the metaphor is much more apt in this case! I spent most of the morning finishing up my homework for Linear Algebra. We're learning about eigenvectors now, which I only kinda sorta halfway understand 'cuz it's very abstract, but in general I think I get that an eigenvector is something that acts on a number in the same way as a given matrix. Me: If you adjugate more, and if you subtract you get less.

Apparently that wasn't the answer he was looking for.

Soooo, when the math prof asks, "Is the vector b = (1, 2, -3) in the range of T?", apparently he's looking for more than just "Yes" or "No".
