Happy National Day, Norway!
This is like the best day ever! I got my fic on the Heroes Exchange and it's insanely good - it's even Luke/Lyle! It's called Bellis Perennis and you need to go read it right now. This anon rocked my world :D
And we won Eurovision last night - it's an incredibly silly show, but that doesn't make it any less cool when the points are steamrolling in and we beat the record by winning with the most points ever. So cool! The Norwegian commentator was incredibly annoying, though. She kept nagging through the entire thing when we were trying to listen, she talked badly about almost everyone and at the end her voice raised to this shrilling scream that was so high it hurt my ears.
And Dita von Teese was there! And she was beautiful!
And today I just finished sewing on the last silver on my bunad (for those of you who don't know what that is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bunad) I have the Finnmarksbunad and it looks like this.
I'm looking forward to stuffing myself on ice cream and hot dogs and singing songs and waving flags. Yay!
