I've compiled this list of 8 charities in 4 general areas that I wholeheartedly support. For anyone who was considering getting me a Christmas gift, I'd like to ask that you instead consider giving to one or more of these organizations -- certainly, they could use the support more than I could use a thoughtful trinket. :)
