Hello friends!
I'm ready to go back home (Greensboro)...I think my parents (my mom at least) have come to accept that Greensboro actually is "home" and not Raleigh. It's nothing personal really...it's just kind of how it is.
I bought a dress today!! It's for URT/A (graduate school auditions) and it's really nice. I don't know if I want to use it for SETC (where I'll audition for grad schools as well as professional theatre jobs), but I still like it.
I'm really excited about this semester. I can't wait to JUST have dance classes and a photography class. I feel good about my audition packages and I'm excited to audition for TARTUFFE. I can't wait to spend more time with friends...I definately want to have more get togethers @ my place...Laura's going away party was so nice.
I feel like I'm kind of rambling, but I had a spare half hour and thought I'd update. I've had such a great break...I really am blessed. I have a wonderful, everchanging and always suprising family, an AMAZING boyfriend (seriously, I have to pinch myself sometimes), and great friends!! SOOO happy to have reconnected with my trio and spend good, quality time with mom. Things just feel "right". I like that feeling. It's up to me whether or not I am happy and I'm gradually learning that I can control most aspects of my life and the other aspects - well, they'll work themselves out the way that they're supposed to. I'm a hard worker and a good person...things will happen when they happen/how they happen/if they happen...I don't know, I'm just tired of spending restless nights concerned about the future. I don't want to worry my life away anymore.
I sent out a bunch of cover letters over break to various graduate schools as well as emailing Katy Brown. I feel good about that.
Hm, let's see, what else...what else...I miss you NIKKI!! You should come to Chicago from Jan 31st - Feb. 6th. You can take off work from the dow, right? :-)
