Hooray for tans
So I got into Tampa circa 10pm. It was a crappy drive, as always, but atleast I don't have a 7 1/2 hour drive like those that live in south Florida. Crazy ass drivers out there too. Crazy.
Woke up on Saturday about 1pm. It felt so great to sleep in! Getting up every morning at 6:15 really takes a toll. So then we all muddled around for a while and went to some fruit/vegetable market thing. It was okay, and then I made the recommendation to go to Fresh Market. That was the most fun I've had at a grocery store since I was like 4 and use to push a lil plastic buggie around and put stuff in it. They had the most amazing meat selection I have ever seen! They even had *gasp* filets! Granted it was 16.99/lb, but still. They had all these amazing vegetables, the biggest cashews you have ever seen, fresh break, muffins, chesse... I just didn't know what to do. So from now on, I will be shopping at the Fresh Market in Tallahassee for food items. Soda and shit like that I can get at Publix. Fuck Publix. Fresh Market is so much better!!! :)
Today we went to Fort De Soto beach, the #1 beach in America. I have to say... I can think of a whole lot better beaches in Florida, not to mention the rest of the United States. But it was fun. Haven't been to the beach since... summer? Geez! I got burned on my back, but it should turn into a nice lil tan. My legs are still white :( Tonight we're going out to eat at Macaroni Grill, and I haven't been there since high school and big gay Johnny worked there. That's been a long ass time!
Tomorrow I am going to wash my car and finish doing my laundry that I will be starting tonight. Also, my mom and I are going to go to Int'l Mall. I got a $20 gift card to Bath & Body Works for "Legal Assistants Day"... even though I am just a measly runner! But it was really nice, so I'm going to go buy myself something... perhaps some shampoo.
I plan on leaving tomorrow around 4pm, that will give me enough time to get home and in case there's a back up on the interstate, because I have to pick up Kris at 10:30 from the airport.
I am soooooo freakin' tired from the beach. I think I will just watch TV tonight. I don't feel like practicing for the LSAT. I did last night and I got 6 out of 11 right. Blah. Stupid hell.
