(no subject)
Kris and I saw "Crash" on Saturday night, and it was really good. I honestly had no idea what it was about going in to it. I like that. I don't really give a shit about what critics have to say about movies, or anyone else for that matter. My opinion is the only one that matters :) But it was good. It's pretty much a big web of how people are connected to each other through a chain of accidents and racial issues. I definately would buy it on DVD. Last night, Kris and I rented "Meet the Fockers" and I got "Little Black Book." Meet the Fockers was okay, but I think the first one was way better. Seemed like in this one, they tried too hard with her dad and Greg's relationship to make it funny. It seemed long though, but maybe that was just because it was like 1am when we finished. I wouldn't buy it on DVD, but it was pretty good.
Had a nice relaxing weekend with no work. God I love not having to work on the weekends. I like having three days off in a row also! Hooray. Worked on LSAT shit Saturday, Sunday and today. Blah. It makes me want to gauge out my eyeballs with rusted ice picks. Amanda asked me the other day "so, what type of questions do they ask... like ones about cases and stuff?" and I said, "well, no it's more about logic." And she said "oh, so like who has the right of way?" Oh Amanda. Open your lil LSAT study book. Wait, no, don't! Maybe I'll get a better score and have a better chance of getting in somewhere if you don't study :D Or atleast it will look like I got a better score. I'm actually quite nervous about my score. It's so difficult to get into law school in the first place, and then you have the score, your GPA, your personal statement. Although, I do have a wonderful academic and extracurricular record. Hopefully that will work for me! And I work at a law firm, as the lil gopher bitch! I wouldn't fucking be there if I didn't want to be a lawyer so badly, I mean COME ON!!!!
Work tomorrow. Blah. I think I might get some of those Starbuck's Double shots, they look pretty yummy and I need something around 3pm when I've lost the umph from lunch and start the afternoon sleepies. Hopefully this week at work won't be so freakin' hectic. I'm leaving on Friday directly after work to drive home for the weekend. Kris is flying home that morning, and I have to be back on Monday before 10pm so that I can pick him up from the airport. It will be nice to go home, since I haven't been home since Spring Break. Not that I really miss being home, and now that Allison is in France I really don't have anyone to hang out with in Tampa. So I will just have to go shopping! :) Maybe the beach, too, if it doesn't rain. I always seem to get a nice lil tan when I go to Clearwater Beach.
I'm going to go lay in my bed and watch TV for the rest of the night. Kris and Amanda and some other people are going to see Star Wars tonight. I opted out of it for obvious reasons... ie, that it's Star Wars and I am not a fan whatsoever.
