No one will know us in the moonlight...
Hm.. wow. I don't really know how to describe the Jimmy Eat World show.. but it was amazing.
I woke up around 11 when Kerry called, watched Rock Coundown on MTV2 (I bet you can guess who was number 1 :-p ), did some homework to get it out of the way (very unlike myself), and just hung around till I got a shower. After I was ready we went and picked up Kerry. Instead of going straight to the show we stopped in Swissvale at my grandparents' house and the Music Store to get money from my dad and check my email. Then we headed down to Station Square.. stood outside in the rain for a couple minutes worried about the show selling out, but luckily it didn't. After we went in, we explored for a while, talked to Graham, Jason, and some others, and stood there for a bit. We watched the first band, they were pretty good. After they were over we decided to walk around some more... we saw very few people that we knew, and I think we were possibly the shortest/youngest people there! Then the second band came on, they weren't very good at all. If I didn't have the only option of standing there, I probably would have left. Oh yeah, I bought a really cute pink shirt... and I think i'm getting more for Christmas.. yay :)
Finally when the second band was over (they were on forever), we walked around some more, hoping to find someone we knew. No luck, but we did find 2 really hot guys... bonus! Haha... stood over there for the rest of the time and ended up on the bar because our backs were killing us, we couldn't see, and because they had room for us. Unfortunately, I didn't get good pictures because we were soo far away from the stage. We had a good view, though ;-)
It ended up not ending until around 11:30, and it took another hour to get some. So needless to say, I didn't get much sleep last night :-p
