The tradition continues

The holiday season is winding to a close and I have that all too familiar feeling of having done nothing.  There are movies I want to watch, books I want to read, friends I want to see and places I want to go not to mention numerous gift cards I'd like to burn.  So far the only movie(s) I've gotten through have been the LotR: EE because it's something we watch every Christmas.  We just finished RotK and had ourselves a good laugh over the hobbits on the bed scene and the great and t00by love between Frodo and Sam.  Good times.

Last night I saw The Holiday with Jayna and le sighed about 700 times.  Mmm....Jude Law.  Afterwards we stuffed our faces with ice cream at Coldstone and bemoaned our single lives.  Then took stock and realized that being tubby and eating ice cream was worth the price of singleness.

After that I headed over Sammy's where, for the first time in a looooong time, everyone was hanging out.  It was ten kinds of awesome.  Game nights are the best!

Oh! For those of you who read the DT and know Cassie's work - I got a postcard from her in the mail today!  EEEEE!!!

/fangirling.

Time to go do something with my day.
