Simple joys
Pad Thai is my life.... Oh so delicious.. and yet it only tastes as good when you share it with someone.
I like to pay attention to all those little details in human interaction that indicate a person's true feelings... They often go unnoticed, but something so slight as a single touch or glance opens a window into the minds of the people we fill our lives with. WIthout these most minor details life would not be so complex, so rich.... People are like good wine, with many layers of flavours and aromas that may elude you unless you know what to look for, or think to look in the first place.
My kitten has taken to sleeping on the shelf above the toilet where we keep our towels... it sounds ordinary, but I smile every time I walk in and see her in there blinking in that adorable annoyed way when I turn on the bathroom light.
Somehow, doing the dishes with other people while listening to music and chatting is so comfortable and familiar that I actually enjoy what is usually a mundane chore.
Look more closely and you will see things that are there that you never knew you knew.
