to anyone out there who has ADD or knows someone with it
NEVER drink coffee (I'm talking 2 or 3 cups) if you're on Concerta/Ritalin. There is no warning about it anywhere I've read about the reaction of combining the two, but I know from experiance that it is NOT GOOD.
Think increased heart rate, anxiousness, edginess, fidgetyness, skewed vision, etc.
all-in-all, quite similar to the negitive effects of drugs like Cocaine or Speed.
These symptoms last for several hours.
The chance of getting this reaction may or may not be influenced by the amount of stress the user is under.
I have no idea if there have been any studies or reports on this. I just know this from personal experiance.
Please, let anyone you know with ADD or ADHD about this. It is horrible to go through.
