Since dying in June, Thor's been a bit of a mess. He still gets dressed up (presentability courtesy of Tony and Kenzi) and goes to the
celebration of Martin, where he schmoozes up the ladies and a drunken Stark. He tells Sif that there are things she ought to know... which leads to
after party-talks. Meanwhile, below his smile, Thor is trying to suppress the fact that he'd died and his natural inclination to temper, paired with the fact he is now hearing voices, make for a volatile combination. Because of the connection between he and Stark formed by the
jump-start during the battle, Thor
turns to Tony's targets to take out his rage. He kills Jack Harkness... who comes back to life, shock enough to make Thor thinks through the red haze. Between Jack, Sam and Gene, the Thunderer starts a recovery pattern. Putting himself to use on clearing out the Medical building, he gets
visit from Zoey, but unfortunately cannot help her with her questions about mythology and Seers.
After that, things go a little pear-shaped when everyone becomes human. Thor decides to drown his depression (over the anger issues) because he now can, and bunks up on the couch with alcohol and teevee. Bruce finds him first and Thor apologizes for
mouthing off while the voices were loud and then gets introduced to the Lion King, which
Kenzi and Stark find him watching. They proceed to get very drunk, get pool-sharked, lose their beards, and make-out. Thor wakes up hungover to Stark's little spoon. It's cool. He goes to get
coffee delivery and meets Ruby and has a confusing conversation with
Diana in her underwear in which she tells him that she's been smoking kitchenware and seeing the future. At least-- that's what Thor thinks. He may be confused about that, but there are some things that Thor knows, and
he tries to help Wade die like a warrior which works to get the man out of his room, but at the cost of upsetting Carol.
The weekend brings mixed tidings. On one hand,
Stark has Donna make cupcakes as an apology to Kenzi for having a cursed nookie which Thor brings to the theater in time to
start the tradition of Friday Movie Night with the kick-off title, Beauty and the Beast. Also, Thor goes to the library to meet
Betty Draper and suggest some culinary delights. He offers to help her in the kitchen but she ends up promising him cooking lessons in exchange for tales of Asgard. On the downside, Thor finally
confronts Loki... who swears to have no knowledge of his real name, memories, or their familial bond and the whole thing becomes a shouting match with Tony refereeing from the middle after Loki throws a punch. Brooding on this, Thor sequesters himself away for a few days until
Tony comes bearing gifts and they decide to stop indulging in their vices and get back to being the heroes they should be. Maybe that is why Thor goes looking for hexbags... but ends up
requesting Donna's help, who seems much better with, well. Maggots.
Natasha has disappeared and Thor responds to a
call to the Avengers from Clint. It seems the team is truly falling apart. Thor lets Clint know that he will always stand with the Avengers-- and that he will talk to Stark about doing so as well. Which has nothing to do with
the training he starts with the man in question which leaves them both bruised but satisfied.
