Funny you should mention that. I've taken Voluntary Severance at work (I finish next week) and am planning on heading Oz-wards, probably in late September/October. I haven't done anything so coherent as booking flights or setting an itinarary or anything yet, but Perth is going to be one of my stops, so... buy you a beer? :D

Congratulations on your escape! It would be brilliant to finally meet, and see if the mental image has anything to do with the reality ;)
So that would be a yes.
If you're interested, I could probably manage to drag a few of the local slashers out of their dens, though I'm claiming your time first.
