House!
I think I just bought a house! *panics, bounces, smiles*
Made an offer at 15K below the 'from' price, got rejected, upped the offer by 10K (which was what I originally was going to pay), and it was accepted!
Providing the building inspection goes well, and nothing goes kablooie, I should be an official house owner within a month. I'll ev en have a short-term tennant, who will be assisting me with the mortgage for the next several months until the house he is building gets completed.
I've got a few things to organise, in terms of brokers, agents and inspections, but it should mostly take a few emails and then it's done.
House is a townhouse in a fairly big grouping, contructed within the last 5 years. Main selling points were the kitchen and open plan living space. A few minor issues with the ensuite bathroom, and cosmetic damage from settling (hence builder inspection).
