Buffy for a new generation?

Am currently watching the first episode of Demons. It showed promise with the first half of the episode - shamelessly pandering with a half naked Christian Cooke, shown here in his role as Ross Jenkins in Doctor Who.
Pity about the bad CGI, slow pacing and incoherent plot.
