I started writing this before the New Year, but it was a rough ride at the end, and I guess I wanted an extra week’s distance to really think it out.

Last year was a lot of trial and error, to be honest.

Made massive headway on my lesson plans, have been cooking and staying in more, spent the weekend with best friends Alex and Brian, and the Tori show is tomorrow. It was time for a happy post.

A weight has been lifted. I'm giving my lecture at AU tomorrow. I have a few dates on the books. I'm registered for three cooking classes in the next month. And I'm going to New Orleans just before my birthday.
