And again Christianity and some other assorted notes

For the last few weeks, in my Sunday night bible study with friends, we've been going through Luke, particularly the end of His ministry.  Particularly when the 12, and then the 72 were sent out, a piece stuck with me;

If people do not welcome you, shake the dust off your feet when you leave their town, as a testimony against them
Luke 9:5

Until today, I didn't understand why those verses stuck with me, now I understand though.  For a while now I've been fighting with members of the FR clan, and while I was playing my game today, the brain cells finally chimed together.. It's time for me to wipe the dust from my feet where I've been standing for the last few years, and move on.

When I finish this entry I'll be working on resorting my buddy list, for the second time in a long time, and doing away with the group of friends that I've spent most of my online 'life' around *sigh*  Not looking forward to it, but knowing it's a neccessary step.

I thought I'd be a dedicated defender of the FR from it's foundation to my end.. it doesn't seem they want me to be.  Oh well.  I'm praying they'll learn how to act intelligent before life decides to take them out of the picture.. one way or another.

So as not to be completely negative in this entry, I've been listening to the local radio stations recently and found a few songs I want to pick up, and after I bought the song immediately after the last entry and then found out my sister had it (and therefore I didn't need to purchase it) I've decided to leave a note of the songs I'm looking for up for a day or two to see if anyone's got the songs and willing to send them to me.

List this time is longer because I've been noting songs and then forgetting about wanting to find them for a while now (I'm not sure on the artists for most of these, it's kinda hard enough to remember the song names long enough to write them down, much less the singers):Love is a Beautiful Thing (I think that's the title, DJ decided not to say -_-)
How 'Bout Them Cowgirls (amusing thoughts running through my head when I hear this one, want to hear it more often than just when the radio decides to play it)
Don't Blink (Thoughtful song, like the mood)
Cotton-Eyed Joe (Been looking for it for a while, haven't found the right version)
Fighter (Heard it again recently and like the message it sends)
From the Beginning (As above)
Manic Monday (Have an AMV I could rip it from, but just looking for the song)

Other news, been watching Chuck, amusing show, just not enough to want to review, but I keep watching it for the character-building dynamics.  Sanctuary continues to be good, the last episode was a significant mind twist, good show, Eureka is taking a break and Atlantis seems to be dropping in complexity unfortunately.

Shows this week are Halloween-themed because of Friday night.. have to remember to use the box-cutter to cut cardboard for the LED lights on the computers so the Trick-or-Treators aren't fooled into thinking we have candy for them -_-

In the manga front, got some new series' started and finally really seeing that Manga versions of Anime are different than their counterparts.  Sometimes for the better, sometimes not.  Sometimes you get more of the storyline, sometimes you barely get much more than the anime provided.

Anyways, here's to hoping this'll be able to break through that wall I've had with writing recently.
