Song thingy...
I learned something from this exercise...
First, I need to clean up my song files...
Second, I have a lot of junk I copied from CD's that went with my ex-wife that, truthfully, I don't like 90% of the music on the CD. But in the interest of speed, I just ripped the wholet hing.
Finally, I seem to be more likely to put a CD in the player as opposed to playing music I've downloaded. Therefore, the stuff on my hard drive seems to be more from the "fringe" of my musical tastes.
01) One is the Lonliest Number - Three Dog Night (How did that get on there?)
02) So This is Love - Cinderella (the animated movie - I think I let my ex-wife take the CD, so I burned it real quick)
03) An Innocent Man - Billy Joel (same situation - burned from the ex's CD)
04) Witchy Woman - The Eagles (same story)
05) She Came in Through the Bathroom Window - Joe Cocker
06) Parade Order '94 - Penn State University Marching Blue Band Drumline (I played drums there from '93 through '97)
07) Seven Bridges Road - The Eagles (see above tune from The Eagles)
08) Lay Down Sally - Eric Clapton (same story)
09) A Day in the Life - Beatles (same story)
10) Shameless - Billy Joel (Gawd.. how did this crap get on here? I must have just ripped the whole CD.)
11) Hold on Hope - Guided by Voices (who are these guys?)
12) Same Old Blues Again - John Lee Hooker (now we're talkin'!!)
13) Within You, Without You - Beatles (gah.. more of this)
14) Unknown tune - Stevie Ray Vaughan
15) Mojo Hand - Lightnin' Hopkins (Yesssss)
16) What's Your Name - Lynrd Skynrd
17) Prelude in C Minor - Bach (more copying)
18) Hate to Say I Told You So - The Hives
19) Kansas City - Wilbert Harrison (blues)
20) Personality Goes a Long Way (John Travolta & Samuel Jackson dialogue from Pulp Fiction)
The task at hand - Open up WinAmp or Windows Media Player, set it to play randomly from your entire library and then write down the first 20 things that play, no matter how embarrassing.
I think Cinderella is pretty embarrassing, so you all owe this an honest effort. ;)
