PURPLE!
My lovely, new purple Assuit dress! I got to wear it today while performing at the Riverside County Fair & Date Festival. The only down side was the metal embroidery actually managed to heat up enough to sting a bit on my bare skin. Fortunately, that was only my arms because I wore a sleeveless unitard underneath. Will most likely wear one with 3/4 length sleeves in the future in order to avoid that issue.
If you've never seen Assuit material in person, the embroidery is done with exceptionally thin metal strips instead of thread, so the designs can cunduct heat. My dress is very well done and completely coverd in designs, front to back.
