Ummm okay.

I was up making myself some lunch, and I decided to run across something I had been thinking about with my father. He was sitting on the couch watching Mark play the XBOX, so I figured he had time.

I said, "Dad" and then waited for him to say yes. Then I said, "You know how they only give financial aide to people who are going to college full time?"

He said, "Yeah."

I continued, "Well, do you think they'd make an exception for someone like me, who has a well documented mental illness, who might not be able to handel full time right now?" Around the point when I said "exception for" he stated asking Mark about the game. It's a quest type game and mark is looking around a room for a scroll or something, and dad started suggesting place for Mark to look. So after my sentence when he didn't say anything (to me, at least) I just said, "It's not important, evidently."

From where I was I couldn't see dad, but I looked up at Mark, and he looked back at me for a second then said, "Dad, Erin was asking you something."

Dad's answer to that: "Did you check in the bookcase?" (Of the video game Mark was playing)

Now, I know dad has a MAJOR case of ADD, but that seemed...I dunno.

Too keep myself from crying I just came down to my room with my lunch and shut the door. After I'm done eating I'll play my guitar or read. If people don't think I'm worthy of their time I'm not going to fight for it.
