Facebook, again.

Okay, I just saw a law school student post that weird little FB copyright thing and now I'm confused. I mean, it's total nonsense, right? You kinda already gave FB the permission to use (not own, use) your content when you agreed to its terms of service? And a status update isn't a legally binding document that will overrule your agreement to those terms of service? And if you want to cancel your agreement with Facebook's terms of service you might want to make sure that they actually see it? And even then they're not obligated to change anything? Also, I can't find the specific UCC law that is cited? And WTF has the Berne Convention to do with pictures of you eating sushi or looking hungover? Or the Rome Statute?

I IS CONFUSED. I think the law doesn't work that way? ENLIGHTEN ME, FRIENDSLIST.
