Happy Canada Day!
I was watching a special on telly, on the Canada channel (that's 99 at my casa), and they had this short monologue that went kind of like this:
"Canada is kind of like the annoying younger brother for the US, and the UN is kind of like the mom. So the US goes up to the UN and says 'Alright, i'm going to war!', and the UN says 'Fine, but take Canada with you.' And the US whines back 'Aw man, do i have to?' 'Yes, you do.' 'But Canada is so dumb, they can't do anything!', to which the UN replies 'Well, make them goalie or something.', and the US just slinks off saying 'Fine.'"
I laughed very hard. Then William Shatner came on and did this l o n g shpeal about all the things he's not, and doesn't have or do, like "And tribbles were just puppets!" "I do not have a doctor named 'McCoy'" "And i do not. Talk. Like. Every. Word. Is. It's own. Sentence!", and then ended with "But I am Canadian!". And i cheered like the biggest loser in the world.
I got paid today too. I was happy, because i feel very rich. Let's celebrate. Bubble tea for everyone, it's on me.
