number 2

I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead;
I lift my lids and all is born again.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)

The stars go waltzing out in blue and red,
And arbitrary blackness gallops in:
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.

I dreamed that you bewitched me into bed
And sung me moon-struck, kissed me quite insane.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)

God topples from the sky, hell's fires fade:
Exit seraphim and Satan's men:
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.

I fancied you'd return the way you said,
But I grow old and I forget your name.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)
I should have loved a thunderbird instead;
At least when spring comes they roar back again.
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)

Felt like posting some Sylvia Plath, I always found this poem to be really awesome and I was working on a paper where I came across it again so I decided to throw it in here. So here it is.
So look at me go, it's like my second entry this week. I'm on a roll. Woohoo.
I went to the beach today with my dog Molly and my neighbor whom I just met last night, she's got one of those sad story lives and she seems really nice...plus her dog and my dog get along really well, so I'm going to do what I can to be nice to her.
I'm trying to do a paper for my Humanities class on Crucifixion as a theme in the work of Francis Bacon, and it's kicking my ass. It has to be 10 pages and I've been working on it for like 3 hours and I have almost 2 pages done. I'm not sure I would call that progress. Oh well. Back to that I guess....wish me luck...

This time next weekend I'll be in New York...and Tuesday I'm seeing my Melissa :)

I can't wait, I miss her so much...
