Spring Break movies

These movies I can remember when we watched them. We spring breaked in a beach house in the Outer Banks. There was a Redbox just down the street.

This is a light, cute film. Having never watched morning news shows, though, I don't know how realistic it was. I mean, would people really get tats on TV as part of "news". But, I guess then that makes me taking Harrison Ford's side. See it once for good-hearted fun.

HYSTARICAL! Had me cracking up. Ok, granted, I thought poop on her face was NASTY, but over all, this was very funny. I thought it did a great job at showing the balance needed in family life, with a rich sense of humor about the whole thing.

This was interesting. It is a SLOW movie, and very emotionally deep. It's not for your light-hearted, spoofs, comedy crowd by far. I like deep emotional things that challenge your thinking. So, I respect it. I wouldn't buy it. It's not going in even my top 30's list. It's aimed at a certain population, for sure.

This one I watched with my son. He didn't love it. We're not going to be buying it. But it wasn't bad. I do think it's aimed at older children, and would not suggest it for the kinder and younger crowd. It's a strong plot, in my opinion. It's a classic epic of heros and danger and great journey.

And then my son watched this, . . .again. And made me watch it. I do not like the whole Cats & Dogs thing. I didn't like the first. I didn't really like the second. I think it's dumb and low grade. I don't get it.
