(no subject)
so the greatest thing happened yesterday.
I left south yarra news full of hate for my boss (which, by the way, i still have despite what happened).
I received a message from an unknown number. (I deleted the sorry bastard from my phone the moment i left).
He has put $860.00 in my bank account, holiday pay apparently. He has left SYN and has decided to do the right thing and pay us the money we were owed.
To be perfectly honest, I didn't know it would be that much. I didn't even know I had any money owed to me. It was a shock.
It's made my life so much bloody easier!
I've saved some for my holiday to Hong Kong in August with Denzo, bringing the total closer to what I want before I leave.
I've paid the Gas bill which was due next week (not a crazy amount of money, but it's paid so the bill wont be a week late).
I've put money away so our car can get serviced, which is very much overdue! very very overdue!
and I've put some money to pay off our new fridge Denzo's dad financed and we have to pay him back.
I brought West Wing on DVD, series 6. Which I have been wanting for weeks but couldn't justify $65.00 for (I got it for $50.00 at a second hand store - It just came out on DVD so it wont be dodgy). Which is wonderful! and I get to buy Denzo the birthday present he really wanted. this anime dvd, magical shopping arcade. It's so sweet!
and I'm going to buy this awesome scarf I've had my eye on. the scarfs I have aren't thick enough for the bitter Melbourne cold, and it isn't even winter yet. It's peach. and awesome.
Plus, denzo and I brought crappy food last night and got pizza and rented dvd's. because we never get to do that. every cent is counting at the moment, and we're trying to become more organized with our food situation. We did buy up&go and toothbrushes, but the rest was crap! YAY!
It was just such a relief, I was so worried after losing my last packed of the pill and having to buy it. sure, its only $20.15 but I've been on the health care card forever. I've never paid more than $5.00 for medication in my life. and I was freaking out because I had to meet Kate in the city (just about money, not seeing Kate) and then have lunch with her, dinner with Denzo in the city because the soccer is on tonight and we're watching it. and then go shopping for food, metcard has gone up and I wasnt organized with lunches this week so I've spent heaps on crap I shouldn't have.
It has just made my life that little bit easier. which is wonderful.
I wanted to sleep in today, but my body is still on the wake up early clock - I can only sleep in on Sundays. Which I will do tomorrow!
Work has been exhausting, but it's going really fast. now, i must make breakfast and wake the mrs up!
