Look where my obsession with Samurai Champloo led me
So desperate for a daily fix of SamCha was I, I ended up making a scrapblog fan book dedicated to the series. This is way past obsession when watching the episode on DVD, reading high quality doujinshi or fan fic is no longer 'cutting' it. In too deep.
I was OK for a while after the show concluded on AdultSwim, but ... 3 years later, here I am. Still obsessed. What's scary is the fact no quality anime series has come my way in that long. Yeah...that's sad.
This whole SamCha addiction was aggravated upon the end of the InuYasha manga series (The anime series had way too much "from last episode" or "remember when" recollections, IMO.) in June of this year after 12 joyful years of reading. I should find me the DVD collection of "Paranoia Agent" soon. That was the other good one that caught my attention ... again, a few years ago.
Anyway, I'm about to either start writing my own fan fic or start drawing/painting fan art of SamCha...
