I didn't quite expect to see a culinary art entry...

into my RED contest over at dA. XD When I decided on the theme of red, it was the color I was into, and I also thought it kept the frame of possibility nice'n wide for the fellow deviants to come up with something uniquely their own (along with a horde of blood and predictable vampire-themed stuff... although I must say that I've been proven wrong by the fact that they have not been sending these in. :D I suppose it helped that I spelled out the judging criteria, "originality 40%, creative interpretation of the theme 30%, ...".) But because of my Kuroshitsuji fanart in my dA gallery and the deviants who are watching me because of my Kuro fanarts, a good number of Kuroshitsuji fanarts, namely Madam Red and Grell, has been submitted so far. Today, though, I was pleasantly surprised with a rather original 3D creation submission from one of the Grell-o-holic deviants. ^_^

Behold!

The mold of Jell-O with Grell's fanart in it, which is sitting on a glass plate placed over the lava lamp bottom for the backlit effect.

With the total submission numbering at 36, with 32 of which being art submissions and only 4 are 3D creations (Still no literature submission from writers though... hmmm.), this one so far is the most uniquely conceived one, I must say. XDD I just get such a kick out of it!
