33 Entries So Far
And we have exactly 4 weeks to go before the deadline is upon us. I'm talking about the Summer Art Contest that I'm sponsoring/hosting with the help of
r0ck3tsci3ntist and
liralen as fellow judges. As I look at the list of entries, the current break down is that there are 30 pieces under "art" category, while 3 pieces are under "3D creations". We have yet to received a single piece of writing. :( Several people have expressed interest in participating as writers, so I'll just have to patiently wait for 4 more weeks. :D)
It's a lot to look at already. This is going to be a lot of fun. :D :D :D
So whoever is reading this "public" entry, here are the details.
Summer Art Contest 2009 RED
Deadline is June 27, 2009 at 11:59 pm PDT.
Theme: color RED
Open to all deviants at deviantART.
Categories: Art (traditional or digital, all media), Literature (fiction, poetry, etc. English only, please. No more than 800 words.) and 3D Creations (sculpture, cosplay, craft, plushie, jewelry, cake decorating, garden design, etc.)
Submission Limit: up to 2 entries per deviant
Prizes: Best of Show, 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place -- including a 3-month subscription to dA and more :D
